Carolina Shutter & Blinds is seeking a talented design professional to join our team in the Burlington, NC area. This position will service clients in both the Raleigh and Greensboro metropolitan areas each week so being located along the I-40 corridor between Greensboro and Raleigh will provide the ideal candidate with shorter drive times and a better work/life balance.
The responsibilities of the design consultant include evaluating client needs, identifying solutions within our product categories, and using a client-centered approach to closing the sale. Our ideal candidate will have significant experience with in-home sales of window coverings or similar home improvement products (e.g. replacement windows, roofing, flooring, kitchen/bath remodeling)
Design Consultant Responsibilities:
- Meeting with pre-screened leads to review window covering projects in both residential and commercial environments
- Using software applications to accurately quote projects
- Consultative selling of product solutions - with a strong focus on first-call closes
- Constantly improve product and process knowledge to win with experience
- Measuring accurately and providing documentation that will allow all other team members to successfull fulfill the order
Design Consultant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- A current and valid driver's license and a driving record that will allow you to be insured while using company vehicles
- Experience in in-home, commission-based, selling
- Excellent creative, communication, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
